Chlorine dioxide: The most effective water treatment chemical today

There are several challenges in the treatment of poultry water today. Water quality standards for growers have not been completely established and most of the growers are using untreated surface. Issues with waterborne pathogens plus scale are very common. Many growers are using city or community water due to the poor quality found in well or surface water. The high cost of this has affected the bottom line of the grower significantly. This will focus on inexpensive water disinfection solutions that don’t affect water chemistry or produce dangerous disinfection byproducts. At present, used disinfection methods were analysed so as to justify this approach.
