Elctrodeionization (EDI) System – It is the water treatment process wherein electricity is applied to deionize water and separate dissolved ions or impurities from water. It is usually used as a polishing treatment to reverse osmosis. While deionized water might cause organ damage in humans but when done through reverse osmosis it is safe to drink.
So, membrane filtration, Electrodeionization System, and Ultrapure Water System are the three most commonly used forms of water purification and have their own set of applications.
