If your printer is Ethernet ready and you have a network consisting of at least a router with one available port. This is a good option especially if you want to use it with more than one computer. To connect you plug a Cat 5 or greater cord in the printer and router ports. You would need to supply model numbers for detailed instructions. But, in many cases modern printers will self activate once the connection is made.
