SIGNIFICANCE OF EID-UL-ADHA IN ISLAM

Muslims celebrates two of the most important Islamic events of the year that are Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha. Muslims are gifted with the occasion in the end of the long fasting month of Ramadan; and another gift given by ALLAH to Muslims is Eid-ul-Adha, in the end of Hajj, the sacred pilgrimage to the holy Mecca. It’s obligatory for every able Muslim who can easily afford to visit (financially and physically) to perform Hajj at least once in a lifetime. Eid-ul-Adha is also very well known as the Festival of Sacrifice, this Muslim festival Eid-ul-Adha reminds us the Prophet Ibraheem (AS) generous act of sacrificing his own son Hazrat Ismaeel (AS) in the of way of ALLAH.
